Strawberry Sweet Rolls

Our Strawberry Sweet Rolls are so easy to make that kids can do it! This deliciously sweet treat is perfect for breakfast, brunch, or dessert! You might want to make a double batch!

Step 1

Preheat oven to 375° F.

Step 2

Slice strawberries. (Older kids/teens can help!)

Step 3

Open and roll out crescent roll. (Kids can help!)

Step 4

Pinch crescent roll seems together & roll it out with a rolling pin. (Kids can help!)

Step 5

Brush melted butter on the crescent dough. (Older kids/teens can help!)

Step 6

Sprinkle 1/4 cup sugar on top evenly. (Kids can help!)

Step 7

Placed sliced strawberries evenly on top. (Kids can help!)

Step 8

Roll the dough tightly into a log, starting at the short end. (Kids can help!)

Step 9

Cut into even pieces, about 8-9 pieces. (Older kids/teens can help!)

Step 10

Spray a pie pan with cooking spray.

Step 11

Bake for 15 minutes uncovered. Bake an additional 5-10 minutes covered with foil until the center is cooked.

Step 12

For the glaze, combine powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract in a bowl. Stir until smooth. Add more milk, if needed. (Kids can help!)

Step 13

Once strawberry sweet rolls are cooked through, drizzle glaze onto the sweet rolls. (Older kids/teens can help!)

Step 14

Serve warm. Refrigerate leftovers.

This recipe is easy to make and kids can help prepare. It is perfect for a weeknight treat or as a celebration dessert/brunch item for Mother's Day. You can even prepare in a foil pan to give as a gift. You can adjust the granulated sugar amount to fit your preference, it can easily be lessened and still taste great. To make this recipe lower in carbohydrates and calories, consider using Stevia Extract with a quantity of 1/4 cup or less. You can bake this recipe in a pie pan, 2.5 quart casserole dish, or an 8 - 9 inch baking pan.
