Our Made in Ohio Meatloaf is prepared with local ingredients from local farms. This is the ultimate meatloaf recipe stuffed with cheddar cheese, bacon, pickles, potato chips and a molten cheesy center – basically a bacon cheeseburger disguised as an easy-to-prepare meatloaf. Top with pickles, cheese, bacon, and drizzle with mustard and ketchup for a true burger flavor.

Directions

Step 1

Dice Cleveland Pickle dill pickles and measure 8 Tbsp. worth. Set aside.

Step 2

Use a rolling pin to crush 1 cup worth of Hartville Potato Chips and set aside. Serve remaining chips with the finished meatloaf.

Step 3

Dice a block of Extra Sharp Cheddar Cheese, set aside.

Step 4

Chop bacon and fry over medium-high heat until cooked through, about 8 minutes. Drain on paper towels and set aside.

Step 5

Preheat oven to 350° F.

Step 6

In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, ¾ of cooked bacon, potato chip crumbs, 1/3 cup diced cheese, panko bread crumbs, egg, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, 2 Tbsp ketchup, 4 Tbsp pickles, pickle juice, chopped onion, salt, and pepper.

Step 7

Spray a large loaf pan with cooking spray. Put 1/3 of the meatloaf mixture into the bottom of a loaf pan, make a well through the middle with a spoon or your hands.

Step 8

Add 1/3 cup chopped cheese to meatloaf well.

Step 9

Cover with remaining meat mixture

Step 10

Spoon on remaining 3 Tbsp ketchup on top of meatloaf.

Step 11

Place loaf pan on a baking sheet. Bake meatloaf 60-65 minutes, remove and let sit on counter for 10 minutes.

Step 12

Place meatloaf on serving dish.

Step 13

Top with remaining 1/3 cup diced cheddar cheese, remaining bacon, and 4Tbsp pickles, as desired.
