Korean BBQ Burger with Classic Kimchi

This incredible easy and unique Korean BBQ Burger is packed full of flavor! Top the grilled seasoned burger with Cleveland Kraut Kimchi slaw for an easy Asian inspired dinner.

Directions

Step 1

Place ground beef in a large bowl and break up into chunks. Add all of spices and seasonings into the meat and gently mix into the meat. Portion out 4 burger patties about 1 in. thick for cooking.

Step 2

Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil to the pan or grill over medium-high heat if grilling. Cook burgers for about 4-5 minutes per side until internal temperature reaches at least 160°F for medium done and cooked through.

Step 3

To assemble burgers, spread mayonnaise on the bottom bun, add lettuce then the burger patty.

Step 4

Glaze the burger with Korean BBQ sauce. Top with 1-2 tbsp. of Classic Kimchi and the other bun.

Cook's Notes

This recipe can be prepared on the grill or stovetop. If you prefer to use fresh ginger, replace the 1/2 tsp ground ginger with 1 tsp fresh minced ginger.
